Bronte House / In Development

This exciting project in Bronte is currently underway, involving the demolition of an existing single-storey brick dwelling and the construction of a new two-storey home for a family of four. The design aims to create a harmonious blend of functional living spaces and a relaxing sanctuary that the couple and their teenage children will enjoy for years to come.

At the heart of the design is an internal courtyard, which will help to draw natural light and ventilation deep into the home, ensuring a bright and airy atmosphere throughout. The layout has been carefully considered with a smaller floorplate to allow for expansive landscaped gardens at the front and rear, creating a strong connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.

The interior of the house will feature spacious, light-filled rooms with high ceilings and exposed structural elements, giving the home a sense of openness and grandeur. A carefully curated material palette of light finishes, natural stone, and timber will bring warmth and texture to the interiors. On the exterior, the home will be clad in blackened timber and render, with landscape planters softening the facade and adding a touch of greenery.

To ensure privacy and create a truly tranquil environment, the design incorporates fixed vertical elements, providing both screening and a sense of retreat from the surrounding area. The Design vision for this project was to create a beautiful, contemporary home that reflects the coastal charm of Bronte while offering a modern, comfortable living experience for the family.
